Arch 693: Hillside Design Methodology in an East Asian Context

In this course, students explored methodologies of hillside design in an East Asian context, with a strong emphasis on the interrelationship between design methods and research methods and the fruitful combination of both. Research papers investigate precedents, contemporary case studies, local architectural languages, and natural catastrophes.
